Help for the new guy. Bringing back a truck that has been re-worked once by PO. Looking to find the correct colors of interior metal, header, door panels, seats, floor, seals, steering, etc. I have seen various offerings from various supply houses, but looking for historical correct color offerings. Any ideas on where to go for the reference?

I think that 1955-1st was the same as 1954, as far as interior colors: Pearl Beige standard interior color and Pulsar Gray for deluxe cab interior. A few other interior colors are mentioned in the Tech Tip below. If you go to the 1954 DuPont reference sheets (a link is at the top of the year-column), you'll find other information about interior colors. 1947-55 Advance-Design Trucks Paint Colors Tech Tip There were also 4 different/additional two-tone interior color schemes (for regular cabs). Jim Carter probably has has good matches for many interior colors. | | | | | Joined: Apr 2012 Posts: 23 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Apr 2012 Posts: 23 | Thanks for the info. Yep, 1/2 ton 3100 with the corner windows/ custom cab. Any idea on how to find out about the matching colors of the seats, headliners, arm rests, etc. I have a pulsar grey interior, ocean green exterior, trying to find out if there is documentation on what colors of interior would match up to be historically correct. Is there a reference?

Maybe someone else can help you figure this out? Is there an interior color code on an ID plate? | | | | | Joined: Dec 2011 Posts: 110 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Dec 2011 Posts: 110 | Thanks Red58! I'm gonna try and find a urethane that is close. Does anyone have a good interior pic of a truck with "Commanche Gold Metalic"? Mine has a thin layer of rust mixed in with all the interior color. Factory must have shot less coats inside.
