on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: May 2012 Posts: 34 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: May 2012 Posts: 34 | I just purchased a '65 chevy c10 fleetside with the "standard" bed length of 78". Anyone know where I can order a good cover that won't break the bank. I checked with LWC and they only have shortbed and longbed both of which don't fit. Thanks again,

You'll likely have to go with a custom cover. Maybe buy a long bed cover and have the resident seamstress in the house cut it down?

"6 foot bed" for a short box is just nominal, the short bed dimensions are the same for 55-66, a short bed cover will fit your truck

The middle, "standard" was 78 inches and the others were longer or shorter. And the companies could not tell me how "long" a truck their cover would fit.

Dang I gotta stop doing that. It's always referred to as a 6' bed, but isn't exactly 6'. Most " 6' " beds are 6'6". | | |
