In 1955, the suffix "X" refers to 3100 truck (as was also the case in 1954).
F55X is first-series 55 truck (F255X would be a 2nd series 55 truck).
The F prefix refers to Flint, MI assembly plant.

No optional engine was available in a 3100 truck. No need to apologize about asking questions. I think that LAQ indicates 1953 car 235 engine with Powerglide.
The year/model indicators in 1955-1st and 1955-2nd were suffixes and none match LAQ.
