My '65 has the original CUSTOM DELUXE steering wheel I know the horn works but there is not initial contact and I already have the contact spring, what am I missing?

#85489 05/11/2002 11:36 PM | Joined: Oct 2001 Posts: 39 Member | | Member Joined: Oct 2001 Posts: 39 | I dont think Its that its just that the center piece of the DELUXE horn doesnt goe down to make the spring contact with anything I dont know if it needs a rubber bushing or some sort of metal disk to touch the steering metal.
