The one I am trying to get is like yours, without the Unity script, it has a yellow/brown knob. It has a fuse on the back side of it too. I would imagine it just screw-clamps to the bottom edge of the dash? | | |

Plus there is a lamp in the switch that illuminates the switch when it is on. I have had mixed luck with making the lamp work. It will come on and work for me at times, but it is inconsistent. It's pretty bright too. It illuminates the whole cream part of the switch, but only when it's on. | | |

Because they are made by Unity Manufacturing and they are Unity Foglamps, the same company that made the spotlight that says Unity on it. The switch came with the light kit.
As far as ground, yes and no, that is not really the problem. The problem is that the bulb that was used in that switch is no longer manufactured and I have tried to adapt a 63 bulb with some soldered on nubs and it doesn't make contact properly so it's a ground and hot lead contact problem. Only on rare occasions when driving at night does it light. | | |
