ID plates for many years are available for 1/2 ton trucks (from many of the reproduction-parts vendors - check the Links section of this website).

Finding an ID plate for non-1/2-ton trucks is a problem.

If you're a VCCA member there's a fellow who sells stamped data plates to members for less than the vendors sell blank plates. I don't know if he just has car plates or if he has truck plates too. He advertises in the club magazine.

Tell us the year, make, and model of truck: Chevrolet, 31xx (1/2 ton) pickup, 3104

http://chevy.oldcarmanualproject.com/chevyresto/52060.html

The "correct" weight would be the GVW on the plate you found.
