From former abuse the back of my cab (48 3100) has many bumps and bruises. Quite wavy. Would a shrink disc be the best to straighten this out?

Any advice or help on this?

Thanks

Dennis

A shrinking disc is normally used after all of the old fashioned hammer and dolly work is done. It can be effective at shrinking the spots that have been stretched by damage or overworked by hammer and dolly repairs. "Quite wavy" is probably too much for a shrinking disc.

Here's a link to someone using a shrinking disc. Hopefully you can see if it's right for your job.

The rest of this guy's videos are pretty good, too.

Dennis have you got "The Key to of Metal Bumping" yet?

it is a must read. And then practice.

BTW, I'll email you about sending you that starter/solenoid combo later today. I've been busy this week.

Dave's link is to a video by sevt_chevelle. He is a Stovebolt.com member who posted a good reply on this subject about two years ago.
