Been working on a 50 half ton, came with a 1954 235 and 4 speed. Have since rebuilt both and working on a new brake cylinder installation (single to double reservoir). I have some metal replacement on the front corner passenger side of the cab. I resigned myself to upgrade the shaft steady bearing(two piece shaft) to a modern style as I can find a replacement for what it came with. Hope you are all having fun with your projects. Nice to see this post for us BC Bolters

Welcome blanch 53 or should that be 50 for the truck or are we giving away our age?

I might still have my 2 piece torque tube drive shaft assy out in the shop as I'm in the middle of putting a v8 into my 53 1/2 ton.

Thanks for the welcoming, you can add a few years to the 53, but still a kid inside
