I just received a power steering pump and bracket to upgrade the 64 to P.S. and I am having a tough time trying to picture the thing mounted on my 292- I'm hoping that I have the correct bracket- does anybody have a picture of their in line 6 with a power steering pump installed? looks to be a bit crowded there under the alternater... any pics would be appreciated.

On my '66 292 we mounted the pump above the alternater. It's not a factory correct bracket, but did the job real well. I found it on Ebay.

Tony,

That helps a ton! I'll shoot you a message if I get stuck at any point- I'll also post a few pictures of the setup I have. I only have the pump, pully, hose and bracket at this point in time- need to find a power steering unit and the offset bracket if you know of anybody with one they are looking to unload... thanks again!
