Welcome to the Stovebolt. Lots of helpers here. Folks have discussed this issue before, so search for this topic in the archives. Most agree that Chevy Duty sells a good stock harness with good instructions. Visit the "LINKS" section to see this product. These are made by American Auto Wire and you can visit their website for options if you decide to add modern circuits when oing the re-wire. | | |

Joined: Mar 2000 Posts: 1,177 | If you're really serious about original, there are a few vendors that offer an "original" wiring harness that has the cloth covering. The replacements are the more modern plastic covered wire and electrical tape type harnesses.
The "originals" are a lot more expensive, but if you really want original, that's your only choice. | | |
