| | | | Joined: Dec 2011 Posts: 40 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Dec 2011 Posts: 40 | Hi all…I have just pulled my 216 from my 1946 ¾ ton Pickup to replace all the gaskets…it had been leaking oil from various places and though it was time to replace them…after reading many, many threads here on the subject of oil leaks it seem that a vented PCV system will my solve my problem. There were many solutions here on all types of engines…235, 261, 292 and 283’s…but no 216 PCV conversions and be for I attempt to use one of the talked about conversion for these engines, I thought that I would ask the experts for help. I only want to do this once…
Any thoughts on a Oil Catch can system?

It is better for the engine and it will help keep blowby fumes contained. You would set it up the same way you would fro a 235.
