You initially apply many coats, then long file or block it to fill small ripples and dings. | | | | | Joined: Aug 2002 Posts: 141 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Aug 2002 Posts: 141 | I'm not looking for multiple coats(if possible)I googled primer/filler and came up with a polyester primer-surfacer,it was something like I was looking for but still not sure and this stuff is pricey as well | | | | | Joined: Sep 2001 Posts: 29,269 Bubba - Curmudgeon | | Bubba - Curmudgeon Joined: Sep 2001 Posts: 29,269 | Are you looking for something that is sprayed-on or applied by hand, like a putty?
Most good-quality two-part products at not cheap.
Whatever you get, be sure to follow the application instructions. You do not want to apply it too thick. You want to be careful how long you wait for it to cure - before applying another application; and/or, how long to wait before priming/sealing/painting.
