From whom did you get the whiskers? What is the part number?
Thanks,

I believe another thread spells out the individual part numbers. | | | | | Joined: Oct 2005 Posts: 4,261 "Hey! I sound like Darth Vader!! | | "Hey! I sound like Darth Vader!! I got my parts from Jim Carter, I dimly recall. No matter whom I got it from (about 10 years ago), It did not come with the whiskers. I bought my whiskers from Restoration Specialties.
It is nice to read that the Classic Parts kit is complete and that the parts work (except for your comment that a few pieces of rubber were too short?).

My 1950 suburban is completely stripped down so it's missing all the side glass and from your pic the 1951 Carryall looks like glass with stainless slider is the functioning glass and from the pic on 1954 the glass with stainless slider stays stationary? So it might not look right? I know it's not correct but I've been looking for the 1950 suburban stainless sliders for a year and all I've came up with is this 1954 chevy Carryall. | | | | | Joined: Feb 2012 Posts: 9 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Feb 2012 Posts: 9 | You right thanks!!! | | | | | Joined: Sep 2001 Posts: 29,270 Bubba - Curmudgeon | | Bubba - Curmudgeon Joined: Sep 2001 Posts: 29,270 | Use what works, either style on any year 47-55 - git 'er done.
Only a few people would know the difference and most of us would either not care and/or would know the difficulties in ever finding a "correct" set.
