I decided to put a carb kit in the old 46' because it was running rough. When I removed the Rochester carb I noticed a crack in the phenolic 5/8" riser.
I assume that this riser was installed to prevent vapor lock, like on my 50' Ford.

Are these thick gaskets available through NAPA, or some other parts distributor. Thank you.

The insulator plates are available from American Classic truck Parts for $10 - assuming you have a 216. Check 'em out - they are a good Stovebolt site sponsor.
