First did you go with power assist under the floor? I have read on some of the kits where it says you may have to do some mods to crossmember (stock 235 and 3 speed).
I want to keep peddle under floor.
If you did the disk bake swap and did not use power assist and only changed to the duel resevor are you ok with it now?
Do you wish you had used the power assist?

I am staying with the 6 lugs and will be going with manual brakes. Figured I will go with that and see how it does for now. Got the kit comming from Obsolete along with M/C, its bracket and tapered roller bearing kit. I was thinking about doing a tech tips while doing this swap. I'll see how things go. I have a motorcycle trip comming up early May so I'll start on brakes after that.

(Great product, everything fits beautifully!)The transmission crossmember came from them also. My underfloor mastercylinder/power booster system came from Chevs of the 40s (part no. EC505.) There was an interference issue with the crossmember which required that it be modified. At the interfenence point we cut about a half inch valley out and then welded in another piece for strength. I'm not a welder so my body guy did it for me. Quick and inexpensive, everything lines up great! Things have gone pretty smoothly - I've got a few pages on my blog summarizing what I've been up to.
Main thing is my 16" wheels won't clear the callipers, so I'm looking at replacements.
