What primer/paint did you use for the 261 engine.

I hope it holds up after i fire it up. I have not ran it yet after the full rebuild and nos head installed. josh | | | | Joined: Oct 2010 Posts: 91 Shop Shark | Shop Shark Joined: Oct 2010 Posts: 91 | Nice, painted my 261 alpine green also.I think Grigg chimed in that that was a factory color.Don,t cry when you nick the paint the first time putting it back together only you will notice.Have fun, putting them back together is alot more fun than taking them apart. | | | | Joined: Nov 2009 Posts: 78 Wrench Fetcher | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Nov 2009 Posts: 78 | Great looking cab. Are you painting the truck in steps? How do you keep the color the same from one time to another? I think I will have to paint mine in steps because I do'nt have room for it all assembled in the garage. You must paint the bed off the truck to be able to paint the back of the cab. I painted 40 years ago so real newbee questions here sorry, it was a small MGA British Racing Green. | | | | Joined: May 2011 Posts: 99 Shop Shark | Shop Shark Joined: May 2011 Posts: 99 | Looks Beautiful.
