I never see any on the streets. The only one I have seen recently was last year at Service Spring in Melrose Park. It was a green 49 or so 3100. Where are the Chicago area guys?

I actually pulled out one of the grand-kids maps to see what's what (Geography was never my strong point). Gosh there are a lot more states in the "middle" of the country than I ever thought about.

I talked to the wife this weekend and decided that I have to sell the truck because when we have kids, we need a backseat so we can carry them around. darn shame. Shoot by the time the kids get old enough (which can be pretty early), they can be your little wrench-fetchers. As they DO get older, you'll be glad you have a hobby to share with them! We get many father-son/daughter Gallery stories.

Peggy, I still plan on coming on here. I actually picked up a 46 Ford 4 door yesterday. So I will be wrenching on that. I have always wanted a stovebolt, but the one I had was just too much time and $ to get up and running before kids came along. So I wouldn't have time to enjoy it with just the wife. So, the Ford will be the new project. And it is actually way better for me to wrench on than the truck. The body is in 10 times better condition than the truck, and it has a motor/trans! Will be up and running much earlier than the truck would have been. And yes, the kids will definitely be wrench fetchers lol
