Good side of all of this is i did find a little gem sitting on his farm that he never told me about.. looks to be a 65-66 short box bed that had been converted into a trailor. im going to post my cell number in the "for sale" section if anyone is interested in it as parts or a whole..

I suggest focusing on "Start/Steer/Stop", in the beginning, so you can enjoy the truck and get some use out of it, before blowing it apart, especially if it is your first project. The trip will be much more pleasant, if you can get some use out of it, while you are working on it.

Once you have made it safe to drive drive it for a bit before you tear it down you will love driving it and make a few memories doing so. It will provide you with that extra boost to get it done once you have it tore down and run into difficult issues. Good Luck and have fun cause that what old trucks are all about.
