They sell remanufactured engines and I was looking at their 235s. Can't seem to find any info on them except that they've been in business for 50 years and the local BBB lists no complaints about them.

If by any chance they say they do not want to bother their former customers, then you should not bother with that company. Most people who had an old engine rebuilt would be willing to talk your ear off.
