I was sent photos of two that were sitting in a rock quarry several years ago(can't find them now), & the first thing I noticed was one had the larger 6 stud Budd wheels, & the other had Dayton wheels, like a 450, or 470 series GMC would have. Also they both had the larger steering wheel, with small round horn button just like a 450, & 470 GMC would have. Anyone have information on the Heaviest AD Maple Leafs? Were the Three Tons the Heaviest? The front fenders for the Maple Leaf are p/n 3682482 R.H. for all tires except 9.00X20, p/n 3682481 L.H. for all tires except 9.00X20, for 1947-51 with 9.00X20 tires p/n 5836500 R.H., L.H. p/n 5836499. I find the wording in the ad interesting. Notice the ad does not say Chevrolet Maple Leaf Trucks but says Chevrolet and Maple Leaf Trucks.
