guys been away for awhile but was wondering what differences if any of a 54'vs 56' front axle assembly. will 54' bolt into a 56' and were talking 1/2 ton stuff here. thanks

The spring mounting pads and holes will be different between the two. The '54 frame tapers in the front and the '56 frame rails are parallel.
