Whereas before the resto, a rattle here or twenty more there, whatever. Now, my shifter rattling is bugging me. I have a rebuilt SM420 in my '50. Cuising along the shifter rattles. Is this just a function of a top loaded four speed, or is there something that can be looked at to fix, (short of putting baseball cap on it.) Steve | | |

Your transmission might quiet down after it has been in service a while. 1951 3800 Be the change you want to see. -hotshoe
