normally i don't care what it is originally, but my customer want's to use as much original as possible to keep cost down. although i did convince him to let me swap out the rear axle.

Of course at some stage someone may have put loadmaster emblems or hood on it.
But it may have had a 216 as these were still classed as 1.5 ton.
You could identify the engine via numbers and castings, and see if it matches original numbers.
