If you have a double pulley balancer the groove nearest the block should line up with a standard pump pulley and generator. If these do not line up you may to make sure the balancer is all the way on the crank and you have the correct pulleys for the pump and generator. | | |

My original fan pulley of my 1962 261 had two additional pulleys, but they were added behind the main one. I had to cut them off and shorten the shaft to fit into the 48. | | |
