How can anyone screw something up that is so simple...Someone who had my truck before me,(I guess)blew a water pump, the fan hit the radiator, by miracle it doesn't leak.(fairly new radiator, but its junk now) Here's how they fixed it...They took a used water pump & pulley from a 72 Nova, (as marked by yellow marker on pulley.) They cut the alternator bracket & drilled a new hole in it, so that it could be moved forward. The water pump pulley is misaligned from the crank pulley..so the fan belt is at an angle, & the fan is too close to the radiator...Now I have to undo this mess...My question..besides needing a new alternator bracket & water pump... will I need a new water pump pulley? - I'm guessing the Nova had a 230/250 ?? - If so does anyone make an aftermarket ? Thanks

Call around to some junkyards, someone should have an old 292-powered truck.
