-Hi. Getting ready to mate my SM420 tranny to my 235. The Clutch Kit I bought included everything needed, including two bushings: one is a flat washer style and the other is longer. DO I need these? 1959 1/2 ton

-Also in the kit was provided some lube, where do I put that? I believe the bearing itself would is pre lubed sealed style.

is it a bushing or a bearing? if its a bushing or bearing i would recommend changing the old one out of your old fly wheel and or crankshaft unless you have already done that it allows the input shaft to be aligned properly between the clutch and the crank shaft the lube is for the tip of the input which has no splines and is tapered.

Hy AZ59apacheguy, I think the lube is for the inner bore of the throwout bearing sleeve, and the groove where the throwout arm rides, and a dab on the end of the input shaft wouldn't hurt either, hope that helps.
