I have been searching for replacement brake drums for the truck, both front and rear, but the cost is out of sight. If they were 1953 drums and up they are cheap, $25-30.00, but below that year they are over a $100.00 a piece. So what gives as to the cost and does anyone know where to get new drums for the 49 for a reasonable cost? Thanks for the help.
God bless,
Dave

The priceing of this stuff goes by the popularity. They say money can't buy happiness. It can buy old Chevy trucks though. If it was a 1 Ton, you could not buy new drums unless they were NOS. | | | | Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 12,029 Cruising in the Passing Lane | Cruising in the Passing Lane Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 12,029 | what's the difference in the Huck drums from Bendix? depth? diameter?
