Just bolted up never done this before changed complete first member steering linkage is not lining up truck is a 63 C-10 front member is from a 85 silverado. What model parts do I need to complete this conversion ?

"Steering linkage is not lining up" covers a lot of ground. How about some more info and some pictures?

After checking around it seems that a plate is offered to mount to the power steering gear to the frame to provide clearance for the steering gear which on the 85 frame has a recess kind of surprised know one has knowledge of this . Guess I am just a poor redneck who cant afford a bolt up kit .
