For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Aug 2009 Posts: 163 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Aug 2009 Posts: 163 | I have a late 1947 Chevy truck, ad style. I heard somewhere that the '47 used the '46 frame. Is that correct?
I have an opportunity to buy a '46 frame that has been powdercoated and that would give me a big head start on restoring my truck. Thanks for any information. | | | | | Joined: Feb 2006 Posts: 649 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Feb 2006 Posts: 649 | The way I understand it, the 46 production ran over into 1947. So there was an early 47 and late 47? Therefore the AD frame and Art Decco frames will not interchange. | | |
