I'm pulling the motor out of my 45 to drop another one in and while I'm doing that I want to disassemble the clutch and brake pedals off the shaft to renew the bushings. question is how do the pedals come off the shaft? I see a ring with two studs on the end that probably takes a special wrench that looks like what has to come off but instead of taking a pair of vicegrips and then blindly start twistng things and tearing something up I figured I'd ask what is the right way to take this apart?
