I am rebuilding the steering, replacing the entire tie rod and ends with 1" rod. I have all of the old balls out, even the ones for the drag link. The existing drag link is so rusted I could not get the replaceable ends out so the rod itself is shot. I have seen numerous posts on making a new adjustable link, some of which involve a welding the hole shut, dilling and reaming it to fit a new tappered tie rod ned. Where would I go to get this hole reamed to the proper degree I need or does anyone have part numbers to use for replacement ends that would be less work. Maybe I need to just replace the entire drag link with a new or rebuild a one and stay with the old ball and socket. Looking for suggestions.
Thanks
