| | | | Joined: Nov 2010 Posts: 150 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Nov 2010 Posts: 150 | Anyone have any tips (Like get a bigger hammer) for loosening up a stuck rim? I got a new set of rims and tires for my 3600 but who knows how long sinse the originals have been removed, and the front passenger side refuses to come off. I let most of the air out of it before i broke out the hammer because it is a split rim. I tried pounding all around the studs and beat all around the edge of the rim from behind with no luck, not even a budge. Anyone have any suggestions?

Darren. | | | | | Joined: Jan 2009 Posts: 1,644 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Jan 2009 Posts: 1,644 | You could try this ,loosen the lug nuts,take the truck off the jack,than shake the truck side to side.In the old days when I worked after school at the station if they got one like that they would loosen the nuts than take it out for a ride around the block that would do it.
Try spraying some liquid Wrench on it to,if all else fails put some heat on the center of the hub.
