It's awesome. Yup, my bagged out 235, is now a sweet running, non smoking tower of power. Also, now that the rods are equipped with "bearings", it sure is quieter too. It's amazing how much more power the ol wagon has too, now that the explosions stay on top of the pistons!

Embarrassingly, I don't actually have any pictures of the job. But take my word for it, it's totally rad!

I rebuilt my 235 back in 1975 when we took it apart most of the rings were missing or baked into the pistons. If i remember correctly only two of the pistons had all the rings left on them yet that old engine would start every time. I do remember how great it felt to have some real power under the peddle, enjoy
