The cab windlace strip on the cab floor at the door opening is held to the floor with a windlace seal retainer (1947-49 is different from 1950-55). Tim 1954Advance-Design.com 1954 3106 Carryall Suburban 1954 3104 5-window pickup w/Hydra-Matic The 216 and early 235 engines are not "splash oilers" -- this is a splash oiler.

It's the word that are tricky. Classic Parts' and Chevs of the 40s' search engines seem to be the best at accommodating my feeble mind.
