Since I got some semi truck parts I'm turning my dually project into a flat bed. If I try and use my current bed, I'll have to stretch the fenders out 12" on each side to fit the rims/tires lol

The bed is in great shape along with fenders. Some minor surface rust in places. Wood and bed strips are all there, cross sills etc so it's HEAVY. I took it off my truck by myself but there's no way I can move it around now haha No tailgate on it.

I've got a great set of running boards/brackets and the piece that connects to the bed. I'll sell those as well with the bed if wanted, otherwise I'll keep them for my project.

$1000 for just the bed or everything...your choice. If you know anybody looking for a bed to just throw on with minor body work this is it. I can take pics and email them to people or just come check it out. I'm just in Langley.

Nate

I've also got a HUGE ram dump setup with large steel dump bed on my '41 Ford 3ton. It's at least rated 2-5tons for dumping. I'm going to take some pics tomorrow and post it on CL, but it'll be going to the scrap yard most likely. Nobody seems to want anything these days lol

I see you're up early getting that hitch put in place! haha Well once you're done with the stude' you'll have a good ol'work truck to putt around in again.

Now I just need to get my motorhome chassis prep'd and over here and put the '49 body on and I'll be good to go!

Anybody looking for a '55-57 Chevy project?! lol Got one too many of these trucks and it's on the back burner so just sitting another year I'm sure.

morning Nate:

my bud's shop isn't open mondays so I'm going to call U-Haul to see if they can install a hitch for me today at a reasonable price. I have a couple of hitches here, one off my 65 p/u and another that I acquired with my 1980 Blazer project and I wonder if one of those might fit. I will have to jack up my sled and see if it's the correct width.

I'd like to come over today and at least pay you for the parts and to p/u the running boards and dumper if not all if i can get a hitch installed today.

how is your schedule today?

Mike

It's still sitting in Everson. Inside a nice cozy shed. I have Wade and Associates coming on the 26th to stake out the corners for my new shop. As soon as the floor is poured and the roof on I'll go collect the tractor. The owner of the shop in Everson actually retired, but my mechanic buddy is still there. He's taking care of it.
I can't believe I actually have to have the surveyors come out to set my corners. What ever happened to DIY. When I built the studio they let me do it. My legs are getting tired jumping through the city hall hoops.

it's all a tax and or permit cash grab, greedy sob's. ya know you have to have it just right when you are building a shop on acreage as one wouldn't want to be too close to your own next acre!

hey if you're doing the rest of the shop construction yourself, I have every monday off
and i'm willing to help out.
