Hi I'm Ron Bender and this is my truck Spooky Six Banger. I learned too drive in a 1965 Chevy C10 in 1972 and decided I wanted another. After searching for a 60's pickup for two months in California and Arizona. I finally found it. She's been lowered slightly and someone started to do some "custom" work on it. The taillights were filled in and Cadillac tail lights were installed. They also filled all the holes in the bed rail. I pulled the Caddy lights off they looked dumb and didn't work well. I cut holes and installed aftermarket tail lights that can be seen in the dark. I also added truck mirrors. The little peep mirror was not cutting it. Finally I added a tool box. The truck has a 292 ci engine in front of a four speed granny gear transmission. Talk about low end torque! I wish I had something to pull! The truck is now my daily driver. I love the looks when I drive through the Navy base gate, Coastie in a classic truck.
