on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! They have a model train display that is spectacular. It runs from inside the building, where there are models of old downtown Mineral Wells and Weatherford, to outside, where there are models of other old towns in the area. It features tunnels, water falls, bridges made of sticks. This alone is worth the trip. They will also have a Texas wine and cheese tasting tent. Hopefully some of the hundreds of flowers will be in bloom. The Fort Worth Model A Club and the Lincoln Club will be participating in the car show. I'd like to see a good Stovebolt turnout, too. Get the truck out and come join us.

Me and My Bride have a pop up camper. Is that a Botanical Garden or a park? | | | | | Joined: May 2001 Posts: 7,438 Extreme Gabster | | Extreme Gabster Joined: May 2001 Posts: 7,438 | Lake Mineral Wells State Park is probably 2 miles from the entrance to Clark Gardens by road. Even less by bicycle trail. Hope to see you there.
Clark Gardens is a Botanical park. No camping. Check their website link in the first post. | | | | | Joined: Nov 2006 Posts: 68 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Nov 2006 Posts: 68 | Sounds grate I am going to try to be there.
