I've been wanting a visor for my 1950 half ton but don't know which style to buy. I've seen Fultons in both the V-shaped and the curved styles. Seems like the curved one would work best with my cab but I looked closely and the cab roof V's right above the chrome windshield divider bar, so maybe a V-shaped visor would would work as well.

Which style was made for my truck?

Get the Fulton/Fulton style with the V. That's the one I have seen on most AD trucks. They are adjustable at the center section. I looked for almost a year and finally scored one off e-bay for just under 250.00 shipped. It's in sweet condition with no cracks or breaks in the metal. That sure beats 499 for a new reproduction.

Take a look at the visor on My 52..I had to modify it to
appear as it if...I hammer formed the "V" to follow the roof peak.
I also cut about 1 1/2 inches from the top of the visor...
I also tried a Fulton first, but it distracted from the round AD
lines...My visor is a 49-50 Chevrolet car visor, and was a GM accessory...

Take a look at mine on my site listed below. Bought it from a guys who sold 55 thru 57 chevy parts. He said he picked it up at a sale, but didn't know what vehicle it came from. Bought it for $50, adjustable in the middle, attaches to center piece on windshield, and drip rails.Seemed to fit perfect to me!!!

Seems like the one with the V in it is the way to go, so I'll call the fellow tomorrow and make him an offer.

Dads50, was yours the rounded type against the cab or did it have a V in it?

I was referring to the edge that mounts against the cab. Some appear to be rounded, to fit the contour of the cab, and others have a "V" shape to them. Most pictures are of the front of the visor. Rarely do you see one of how it butts up against the cab.
