You can get a 50 ft one with rubber hose at H/F for about $75. Well worth it. hose reel | | | | Joined: Nov 2008 Posts: 179 'Bolter | 'Bolter Joined: Nov 2008 Posts: 179 | Thanks, Bruce and Dave.Pretty sure I'm going with rubber, and I see HF has got a sale on a reel with hose for 69.00. Might have to take a drive down to Watertown. Roy | | | | Joined: Nov 2002 Posts: 1,002 Shop Shark | Shop Shark Joined: Nov 2002 Posts: 1,002 | I bought some rubber hose on sale at Tractor Supply. After a two years it is cracking and falling apart. I hope HF is better.

I like the red better than black because I feel that it doesn't rub off onto wood (woodworking) surfaces as badly as black.

The red one is no longer 50' but the 30 that's left works just fine!

Use either Rubber air hose or Black pipe for shop runs with drops to keep the water out. 62Blue Don
