The parts stores should still be able to get you what you need if you give them the correct information. If it's a C-10 it is a half ton, if it's a one ton it is a c-30. | | | | | Joined: Feb 2012 Posts: 4 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Feb 2012 Posts: 4 | sorry for my *bad typing skills*new to both, sorry,* its a panel(stock no add ons ect)truck w/ 8 lugs and heavy duty rear 8 lug w/huge pumkin.*its has 250 ci and is 8 lug and badged as a c-10*not close(far as suspension goes*8 lug isnt 1/2 or 3/4 on panels i was told?and was factory as i,m second owner and family was 1st.i been looking searching for 4 yrs about it?very lil info on the 66 last year of that style.**gm said they only made 2 load ratings for panels from factory the 1 and this is according to there records,i received a reply back.but i have had few c-10 ton and 1/2s and this ones a monster in suspension and hvdty dept front rear end huge.*standard shell not the longer *carpet hauling model.but its in such great shape *orig compared to all the panels i ever worked on or seen 4 sale.as i have receipts for truck he traded a 56 panel and 600$ i beleive for the 66 in 67'from oregon chevy dealer*but dosent say about the suspension 1 ton ect(says c-10).as i thought c-20 was a 1 ton?.maybe frame #,s would clarify this?*as i need to get the brakes up to new as id like them to be,still had factory shoes onit!can use any info anyone has ,and i,ll share any i have,*i,m running a alcohol mister on this motor and it loves it,w/lead subsitute cocktail.once again sorry for my typing and pc skills are terrible i,m a old tinkerer, fabricator, experimenting type not a typist,so any help (w/gm) not my typing skills, would be much appreciated!*how do i put before after picts of my truck i inhereted?sat on blocks since 76" till 2010.thanks to all,and your pointing out my grammar issues.?how to get picts up? sure alot folks who like panels will awe on this one if ya like stockers..alot where lostto the hackers of the custom field.so not many or much info i can find, nice site n glad to have found it,for you st six fans look at www.hotsixes.com very informative and alot era mechanics too,as i am.(older.) thanks again to all.god bless or whoever ya beleieve in..frankenstein sixty six.

What is the VIN? The VIN tag will be on the driver side door header, A-pillar or B-pillar. This will tell a bit of the story.
Welcome aboard and keep on posting! | | | | | Joined: Mar 2009 Posts: 788 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Mar 2009 Posts: 788 | there is only the c10 panel 115"wb or the c30 panel 133" wb. there is no 3/4t panel produced. as Tony stated show us the vin and that will identify it. as he meant by header is that you may have to look to the top of the door frame. ron | | |
