This may be a bit off topic but you all are just so knowledgeable. Any chance you have seen anything like these locks on any of the older trucks large or small? Should I post in interior? Thanks so much.

That's just a pretty generic 2-stage latch plate, not much way to tell what it fits without a part number on it someplace. The first beveled area is designed to catch the latch bolt on the door in case it slips off the second one. My 47 Mercury convertible had that kind of striker plate, or something very similar. Jerry

Was trying to see if some other car had the same thing which would be easy to obtain - had no luck so far.
