Anybody have a source for a Loadmaster valve cover decal?
I can find the Thriftmaster script decals all day long, but not the Loadmaster.

The cover in the photo is from a '50 or so 235 and reads: "Load Master 105 Engine"

Nice picture. I do not think that anyone has posted a Loadmaster 105 Engine stenciled valve cover.

I have also never seen a reproduction Loadmaster decal. Is that a 1950-1952 engine?

Yes, it is from a 105 hp '50 to '52 engine.
I think the earlier 235's had "High Torque 235" stenciled on them?

Maybe so, Steve. But maybe that name was for later 235s?

However, the 1949 Truck Data Book shows a few 235 valve covers. In that year, it was: Load - | master | High Torque | engine, with the "High" over the "Torque", like this engine in the 1949 TDB. In 1953, it looks like it just has "Load- master".

If you can find a decent illustration or photo, an artist could probably recreate the logo. Then a vinyl sign shop could cut a decal using the drawing.

A vinyl shop cut a Thriftmaster decal for my 235 using a scan of an aftermarket decal. 'Course that was a lot easier than having to create the drawing first. $10 setup + $7.50 for decal.

Out of Curiosity, I called up my MS Word program and along side the picture of the engine that Tim posted, I typed:
“Load- master” High Torque Engine

I found a VERY close match using font of "Brush Script MT"

Actually the only letters I saw that were obviously different were the capitals "H" and "T"

I didn't find a close enough match for the "H" but a close match for the "T" was a font called Pristina.

I was just thinking the correct font printed out to correct size might save some artist fees in the decal making process.

Hellomrwilson I really appreciate you posting the font choices of your search.
At this point I am going to play with your font suggestions and try figuring out the scale.
If anyone has rough font dimensions I sure would appreciate it.
A friend has access to a plotter, so I am hoping to have the final cut on masking paper.
Originally at the factory they were stenciled on with paint, right? White, Yellow, ??

I have a 1956 235 ci engine and it is a Load master also but not sure what that font is or what, how it says it. Help
