I can't answer your question as not familiar with the differences between maple leafs and US chevys and GMC's. Thru the early fiftys it seems more common for chevys to have the 5 stud on steer and 10 stud on rear. Some GMC's and late fiftys chevys had the 6 stud wheel. Which is better? The 2 1/2 ton Maple Leaf is Chevrolet powered, the 3 ton is GMC powered. Their Gallery page is practically a Tech Tip already ... but truly have one in progress. It's so huge, it's about two years old. I have referred anyone who comes knocking at HQ asking about Maple Leaf trucks to them. Turns out (this is strange), most of the people who have come here, LIVE right near the Higgins. Chevrolet engine, and it should have five bolt Motor wheels all around. Who knows what components may have changed over the years, maybe a Maple Leaf cab was swapped onto a smaller chassis? | | |
