Need a measurement to re-install my spare tire carrier. The center board of the 46 half ton has a couple holes about mid way to locate the mounting of the spare carrier. Problem is that these holes are not centered front to back and I'm thinking a bit closer to the back, but need to measure exactly. So if anyone out there has an original bed with these holes I'd appreciate a little help locating these holes.
Thanks
Jim

I just went out to the garage and measured my 46. My truck was restored by the prior owner. The 3 bolts are 36 1/2 inches from the back edge of the bed. (from the center of the bolt head) The position allows the J hook that bolts to the spare carrier to hang straight down from the back bed frame rail.
