does anyone know the size of bolts to attach front fenders and also if i recall the bolts to attach hood and hood hinges and inner fenders to fire wall are different,misplaced my originals,also is there reasonably priced stainless or chrome,thanks

Hey shaker I bought S.S. Bolts from Totally Stainless unpolished and saved some money. I had a lot of time so I polished them myself at wwork before I started work. Aquired a used electric motor and went to ace hardware and got some polishing wheels and rouge.It took some time but it was worth it. My 63'

short63 nice truck. I was looking at your pics and noticed that your clutch pedal was much higher than the brake pedal. Mine is the same way. I had a 64 in 1982 and I just don't remember the clutch being that high. Maybe it's just me getting old and wishing the clutch pedal was lower.

Yes, I have just mounted the front clip on my '60 and test fit the rest of the bolt holes on the inner fenders. The fenders will bolt up using the following OEM bolt:

5/16"-18x1" Hex washer head body bolt - Dog Point "black"

When mounting the fender up, the front 4 upper-most bolts will pass through the fender and screw into the front cap. The lower-most bolt will pass through the cap and screw into the lower fender, "I" think this bolt is slight larger as was the top bolt for the cap to mpount to the radiator support. I have not measured it yet.

Hey Shaker, we have every factory-correct bolt & fastener, needed to put your truck together. Although the fasterners are a slightly different configuration, from Totally Stainless, they do the job.

Yes shaker it was that way when I got the truck in 1973. The clutch is a heavy duty as well,I don't think that has much to do with the pedal height.
