Trying to install them, but looking at the rear wheels, there is no lever for the cable to operate the pads. The truck is a 49 GMC, cheched in the parts book and the drawing looks exactly as the photos. Does anybody have pictures of the assembly to see how the park brake worked on these truck. It has the hole in the left of the floor, the brackets on the frame for the cables and the dust shield does have the hole to accomodate the cable, just don't know how does it operate, since there is no lever the cable can pull. Seen brakes from '55 and they do have this extra lever inside, also in the parts book illustration. | | |
