I did a search and found enough information indicating that a properly rebuilt Rochester was a good carb. I hadn't had much success in that department. I'm happy to say that the third attempt to rebuild a Rochester works like a champ. No bog, no leaks, and more power! I couldn't beleive how much difference it made! What really got my attention was the sooty spark plugs acually turned gray after a short run. I can't wait to see how it runs after installing new points and plugs.
