| | | | Joined: Feb 2012 Posts: 15 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Feb 2012 Posts: 15 | All my numbers ie.Block/head match up to be a 248 that came in my '54 GMC 100 but, i have ordered 2 carbuator insulator plates and either the bolt holes dont match or the throat hole is the wrong size. In both cases the slots on the intake side are on the wrong side. catalogs (or computer sites) to match up what you have. Check NAPA
or Carquest or whatever you have nearby. A good counterman will try to help! Good luck!
