Have been to many sites (including this one) but no help. The numbers are clearly stamped and read: ECA3755I7 The engine has been worked over and has insert bearings. The rest of the number is 3755I7 or: ECA3755I7. We can find EA or AECA or JECA references - no ECA. Thanks for any help, BW | | |

Can't find any references as to what it was originally designed / designated for. I know it was updated in the 1970's. Just can not identify what it belonged in. Regards, BW | | |

The 3 letter prefix (ECA) is what is bugging me. Also the next to last character is an "I" - not a "one". Can't find a listing for this motor. There was one reference to prefix "AEC" for a 1947 216 on the Inliners site. Stumped!
