I read the tech tip on this and I don't have any donor parts so I figured I would just have to buy all the Bendix components (and backing plates). Classic Parts of America is selling a 51 1/2 ton brake kit with shoes, springs and the works, but it comes with a 51 master cylinder. I was wondering if the 51 master cylinder will bolt into the same place as the 47 or if there are any differences? Tim that's right, I fitted a new '51 master cylinder to my 1950 truck which also had the Huck brakes originally. It Bolts straight in.
